FED Cuts Interest Rates 1/4 of a Percent Today 11/07/24

The Federal Reserve will continue to adjust their balance sheets and will continue going into the near future any adjustments needed.
So the rate will be 4.5% – 4.75%. According to Powell, inflation has eased substantially. Powell states the economy is strong overall. The Labor market has cooled and remains solid, growth of consumer spending has been resilient. Powell also said activity in the housing sector has been weak, and we are not on any preset course and will make decisions as needed.

VA 5.875% zero points

The rates may adjust down a little more in the near future, depending several economic factors that are expected to play out. Homes in Atlantic and Cape May and Cumberland and Ocean Counties are still moving fast with a price range of $425,000 and below because of the tight inventory of homes.
